How-To Check how much battery power is left on my Phone

Here is an easy and fast way to check your battery meter in HTC TyTN 2.

• Tap the battery icon, Its on the upper right corner of the screen. or you can • Tap Start > Settings > System tab > Power.

Both these ways will let you know about your current battery charge status.

How-To hard reset HTC TyTN2

If you do not have the soft Key for reset, here is the way to hard reset your phone.

Tap Start > Settings > System tab, then tap Clear Storage and now write in input box, ”1234″. Your device will now start to have a hard reset.

How-To select all files in HTC

To have all files selected, select one file and then tap Menu>Edit>Select All. Now all files are selected.

How to Connect to External GPS Navigation Softwares

These settings may work with all HTC phones, But here they are specially mentioned for HTC TyTN 2. Please also note, not all softwares will work on HTC hardware, for any such software, contact its vendor. Here are some settings for generic softwares.

1. Tap on Start > Settings > System tab to select the External GPS.
2. In the Programs tab, Choose and set the GPS program port to COM4 port.
3. Now In the Hardware tab, set the GPS hardware port to (None) and choose the Baud rate to 4800.
4. In the Access tab,  you make sure that Manage GPS automatically is selected.

How to Imporove device that is running slower

Try freeing up memory space by closing programs that are not in use. To close them follow:

1. Tap Start > Settings> System tab > Memory > Main tab to check the current available phone memory.
2. Tap touch Running Programs this checks which programs are currently running on your phone.
2. Select the programs that you want to stop running, (so they get exit from Memory) and then tap Stop. To end all running programs, tap Stop All.

Now your phone will be alot more faster and smoother in working.

AC adapter’s charging is higher than the USB cable

If you want to have your HTC phone battery be charged quickly, use AC adopter rather than charging it with USB cable connected to Computer. As AC adapter’s charging is higher than the USB cable, so it charges your phone alot more quickly than charging via chargining.

How To Send a Text Message in HTC TyTN II

To send a SMS is very quick and easy in HTC TyTN 2.

  1. Tap Start > Messaging > SMS \ MMS

  2. Tap SMS Menu > New >

  3. Enter the mobile phone number ********* in “To” and then write your message. Tap Touch Send.
